Accommodation Options

I proudly own a desert camp and a village hostel to offer the full range of accommodation options to every kind of traveller. See the following for descriptions of both...
Camp
Our newly-built camp offers the true getaway for those wanting to experience the incredible night-sky of the Arabian desert plus the traditional comforts of a Bedouin camp with evening fire, tea and comfortable (but traditional) lodgings. The price per night is 25JD per night per person including transport to and from the camp. Most visitors prefer to combine camp accommodation with a tour of some kind (see our Tours & Trips page). See Contact page to book.
Hostel
Our hostel is a cozy dorm room designed for a maximum of 6 people. Beds are traditional Bedouin cushions surrounding a wood-burning stove, around which you can gather in the evenings to drink endless Bedouin tea (included in price) and share the day's tales of exploration with fellow travellers. A great meeting place for like-minded individuals. Suitable for independent backpackers on a tight budget, only 10JD per night per person. See Contact page to book.

Why My Camp?

Our camp is as authentic as they come. Firstly - unlike many unscrupulous operators outside the protected area - I am a Bedouin and while you stay at my camp you will be considered Bedouin also - part of our family - getting the true Bedouin experience, a once in a lifetime opportunity. Still not convinced? See our testimonials page.
Once you arrive in our village (we can also help you get here!) we will plan your perfect trip together over traditional Bedouin tea
Whatever your interests, an explorer is only as good as their engine; you will wake up to a hearty traditional breakfast before setting foot, rope, hoof or wheel into the multicoloured desert sands of the Arabian desert. adventure on my fully trained camels or experience my expert dune driving on one of my famous jeep tours.
Our camp is located close to Rum Village, inside the Wadi Rum protected area, situated in the middle of the desert. Our guests say that our camp is the best place to view the sunset.
I first came up with the idea to build a camp 7 years ago. You may enjoy the spectacular views while relaxing in the soft red sand. There are a number of private tents for couples or large traditional Bedouin tents that can accommodate much bigger groups.
After a day of activity, everyone gathers to relax around the fire to enjoy Bedouin food, tea and conversation by starlight..
Naturally, the site is equipped with a bathroom. If you prefer to sleep in the open air, No, problem! There is a special bivouac place outside that will protect you from the wind.
